It aims to provide financial assistance for higher education of students. Under this programme, students pursuing B.Tech, BE, B.Arch, or other degrees in Finance or Science (B.Sc, B.Com., BBA, etc) can avail this scholarship.
The Legrand Empowering Scholarship is offered by the Legrand India Group. Talented
girls, differently-abled girls, covid-affected students, LGBTQ+ students and single
parent or orphan students will be given financial assistance for their higher education.
Legrand Empowering Scholarship Eligibility:
- Students pursuing B.Tech, BE, B.Arch, BBA, B.Com., or B.Sc degrees can apply.
- Disabled students, LGBTQ+ students, Covid-affected students and single parentor orphan students are eligible.
- Must have completed 12th in 2023-24.
- Annual family income should be less than 5,00,000.
- Must have secured minimum 70% and above marks in 10th, 12th exams.
Necessary Documents:
- ID Card
- Age Proof (Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Passport, 10th Class Leaving
Certificate) - Aadhaar card
- 10th,12th Marks Card.
- Family income certificate or last six months parent/bank statements form.
- Bank account details of the applicant (or parent).
- Passport size photograph
- Proof of admission or college/university fee receipt for the current academic
year. - PWD Certificate/Transgender Certificate/Any Valid Certificate.
Legrand Empowering Scholarship Benefits:
General category female students:
60% annual course fee of Rs 60,000 per annum. Upto (whichever is less) will be
provided to the girl students on the basis of their academic performance till the
completion of the course.
Special Category Students:
80% annual course fee of Rs 1,00,000 per annum for
disabled students, LGBTQ+ students, covid affected students and single parent or
orphan students. (whichever is less) is awarded on the basis of academic performance
of special category students till completion of the course.
